Preliminary Primary Results!

I have been trying to find the words...I have been writing and rewriting this message so many times.

I am currently leading in the school board race!

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us. Thank you to every volunteer, donor, promoter, voter, and neighbor who got the word out and helped share my story, experience, and vision for better schools in Baltimore City! We literally could not have done it without you all.

I have to say a special thank you to my husband Calogero & son Lil Vinny for keeping me going throughout this process. And all my friends who have been so supportive. Love you all.

The race is not over, but I am amazed so many people showed up to participate in the first school board election!

The early votes and primary results are still coming in. Tomorrow, they will start processing the mail-in and provisional ballots! Once we have the official results, I hope you all will help us keep this momentum going to the final election on November 8th!
