New Song Academy & Charter School Fair

The past few weeks have been really good! I visited New Song Academy and the Maryland Charter Schools Fair. I also attended orientation for new board members presented by the Maryland Association of Boards of Education. Even though I haven’t been sworn in yet, I have been working through issues with students and parents. A hands on process allows me to see how policies and operations can be improved. The Baltimore Student Union @BCPSSUnion has been a great resource! Overall, I’m happy people know how to reach me. I think it is important that people feel comfortable asking for help. Impact > Intent
